The procedure of injecting the scalp with triamcinolone or diprophos does not require any special preparation on the part of the patient. It is important to avoid taking medications that inhibit blood clotting before the procedure and to consult a doctor to discuss the expected effects. It is also recommended to know the cause of baldness before the procedure, which will allow for the appropriate adjustment of the procedure.
The procedure is usually not painful, but the patient can use local anesthesia, for example in the form of a cream. Triamcinolone can be introduced under the skin of the entire head or in selected places, depending on the needs. The procedure should be repeated at intervals of 2 to 6 weeks, until the desired results are achieved.
After the procedure, there may be slight redness of the scalp or slight swelling, which usually disappear after a few hours without the need for additional action. Because the procedure is minimally invasive, the patient can return to their daily activities immediately after its completion.
