PRP is an autologous, concentrated preparation of our own platelets and related growth factors. The procedure involves the introduction of injection blood plasma, which is collected from the patient immediately before the procedure and properly prepared. Plasma is introduced into the scalp. Thanks to the growth factors in the blood, fibroblasts are stimulated to multiply, secreting collagen and elastin, which rebuild the skin. In addition, growth factors support the process of angiogenesis, i.e. the formation of new blood vessels, thanks to which the skin is better supplied with blood. Another important function of growth factors is the activation of mesenchymal stem cells. After the treatment, the hair becomes thicker, nourished, stronger and less brittle. For optimal effect, it is advisable to use a series of treatments with one-month breaks. Plasma is a natural component of blood, thanks to which the obtained results are long-lasting.
Plasma treatments are successfully used in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, orthopedics, plastic surgery and dentistry, as well as in trichology for several years.
