Hair transplantation is a serious medical procedure that requires proper preparation. The qualification for the procedure itself is often multi-stage.
During the first visit, our team asks you to complete a detailed medical questionnaire. We will ask about your health, chronic diseases, surgeries, medications you take, diagnosed and suspected allergies and many other facts from your medical history. We will also exclude existing contraindications to the procedure and present alternative methods of treatment. After conducting a detailed medical interview and a consultation
, we will jointly determine the expected and possible results of the treatment.
After qualifying for the procedure, you will receive detailed, individual recommendations from us. It is very important to take care of the scalp and properly care for it while waiting for the treatment. During this period, you can use laser therapy and perform mesotherapy treatments. If you are using preparations with minoxidil, it will be necessary to discontinue them two weeks before the procedure, however it will be possible to resume the therapy about three weeks after the procedure. Some medications and supplements will also need to be discontinued. About a month before the treatment, it will also be important to massage the scalp systematically (self-massage), which will make it more flexible and prepared.
We always encourage you to contact us if there are any additional questions.
