Laser stimulation of the scalp - FOTONA Warsaw
The use of the Erbium-YAG laser in the SMOOTH mode offers great hope in combating baldness. This is a painless laser treatment that restores up to 75% of hair density. The Er:YAG laser has proven effective in stimulating hair growth in patients with androgenetic alopecia. Studies confirm that the 2940 nm laser wakes up “dormant” hair and stimulates it into the growth phase. The therapy increases hair density in patients whose baldness began no earlier than 8 years ago. Only the last stage of baldness, where there is only a very narrow strip of hair at the back of the head, does not qualify for laser treatment.
Treatment time:
up to 60 minutes
Cost of the procedure:
from 550 zł

Photon Laser stimulates hair growth in 3 ways:
- 1
Under the influence of thermal shock, blood flow to the “dormant” hair follicles increases. The rapid reaction improves oxygenation and nourishment of the hair papillae, and the hair follicles gain energy to produce full-value hair.
- 2
Super-long pulses in SMOOTH mode stimulate the release of growth factors (TGF B and EGF). This is also of great importance for the production of good quality hair.
- 3
Er:YAG laser treatment improves epidermal regeneration. Accelerated epidermal cell turnover causes hair follicles, weakened by androgens, to regenerate and grow faster.
What does the procedure look like?
You should come to the treatment with freshly washed hair. The treatment area – where the hair is thinning is divided into smaller areas. The laser beam performs a series of painless shots. Each pass is performed in two directions with a smooth movement. Depending on the type of equipment, 4-6 such passes are performed on each designated area. After the treatment, the patient should moisturize the head using moisturizing shampoos. After laser therapy, the skin may be dry and flaky.
Is the procedure painful?
The laser is non-ablative, there is no disruption of the epidermis. The procedure is painless, does not require cooling or anesthesia. Most patients experience short-term peeling of the scalp (usually 2-3 days after the procedure), which is due to accelerated regeneration of the epidermis.
