Detailed information

The laser available at the Hairmitage clinic is the most modern platform that allows you to remove discolorations of various origins.

The use of Er:Yag laser technology with a wavelength of 2490nm allows for the destruction of melanin in the deep layers of the skin, which is then metabolized in the body.

Laser discoloration therapy is extremely effective, even in the case of discolorations located in the deeper layers of the skin, which other procedures cannot cope with. In order for the skin to gain an even color, a few laser therapy treatments are usually enough.

Before, during and after the procedure

Before the procedure, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. The procedure is painless and does not require prior anesthesia. During the procedure, the outer layers of the skin are damaged, thanks to which the melanin clusters are broken down and then metabolized by the body.

Immediately after the procedure, a strong feeling of warmth and burning is felt on the skin due to skin damage. In the following days, swelling, tenderness and hypersensitivity may appear. Discolorations may temporarily darken, and then peel off with the epidermis after a few days. The total recovery period depends on the intensity of the procedure and can be from 5-10 days.

During this time, you should stop using cosmetics in your home care that may cause irritation. You should use strongly regenerating care and high photoprotection.
