Laser acne treatment is highly effective and has no side effects that may occur with pharmacotherapy. The laser beam affects the bacteria responsible for inflammation. The sebaceous glands are remodeled to return to their original form. Additionally, the effect of narrowing the skin pores and regulating sebum secretion is achieved. Laser acne treatment does not require anesthesia. The number of treatments and the intervals between them are selected individually for each patient.

Contraindications
- Taking photosensitizing medications and supplements (discontinue two weeks before the procedure),
- Consuming herbs such as St. John’s wort, marigold, chamomile, nettle (discontinue one week before the procedure),
- Active autoimmune diseases,
- Tendency to develop keloids, hypertrophic scars,
- Active viral infections: HIV, hepatitis,
- Using tanning lotions or self-tanning products (discontinue two weeks before the procedure),
- Tanned skin,
- Epilepsy,
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding,
- Pacemaker,
- Taking/using steroids (in the form of creams or tablets),
- Taking vasodilating medications,
- Taking medications that reduce blood clotting,
- Using preparations containing vitamin A derivatives (retinoids) or other substances on the treatment area photosensitizing (should be discontinued two weeks before the procedure).
