Contaminated skin

Contaminated skin

Impure skin, often called oily skin, is characterized by excessive sebum secretion by sebaceous glands and a tendency to develop blackheads and blemishes. It is a common skin problem that affects both young people and adults.

Description of the problem

The causes of skin impurities can be varied and include excessive sebaceous gland activity, hormonal changes, genetics, poor diet, stress, poor skin hygiene and improper skin care. Excess sebum can clog skin pores, promoting the formation of blackheads and providing a perfect environment for bacteria to grow, which can result in skin inflammation and acne.

Impurified skin is characterized by excessive skin shine, visible enlarged pores, open comedones (black dots) or closed comedones (white lumps), acne vulgaris, and a tendency for oily skin, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin).

Treatment

Effective care for impure skin should start with proper skin hygiene, which includes regular cleansing, with gentle cleansers that remove excess sebum, impurities and dead skin cells, without damaging the skin’s natural protective barrier. It is also important to avoid cosmetics that can irritate the skin and increase sebum secretion, and to use moisturizing and mattifying products that will help maintain a balance in its production.

Additionally, regular use of exfoliation or cleansing masks can help remove impurities, dead skin cells and regulate sebum secretion. In the case of severe problems with skin impurities, it is a good idea to consult a dermatologist, who can recommend effective treatment methods and help choose the right skin care cosmetics. In some cases, a doctor may recommend drug treatment or cosmetic procedures, such as deep skin cleansing, mesotherapy or laser therapy, which can help reduce blackheads and improve the condition of the skin.
