Contaminated skin, and thus blackheads, are most often formed in the area where the greatest amount of sebum is produced. The most common places are the face (nose, forehead, chin), back and chest. The cause of this condition is sebum stagnation and keratinization of the hair follicles. The key in the fight against blackheads is proper care in the medical office and at home.
It is best to start with a daily thorough face wash and toning to restore the skin’s proper pH. It is also important to apply individually selected cream. The next step is to cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Depending on the type of skin , Hairmitage uses such treatments as hydrogen cleansing, oxybrasion, microdermabrasion and acid peels. All procedures are selected individually and performed by specialists, thanks to which the effects of such treatment are: regulation of the epidermal keratosis process, cleansing and narrowing of the pores, skin tone alignement, and anti-inflammatory effect. The effects are visible after the first treatment, while after a series of treatments the skin becomes very radiant, refreshed, cleansed, and oxygenated.
